**Optional tracking is off by default.**

You can use this website without accepting analytics or advertising.

## Your choices, at a glance

This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used on the Martexy website. Optional analytics and advertising tags remain off until you accept. Rejecting optional tracking does not prevent you from reading our pages or contacting us.

You can accept, reject or manage your choice in the privacy banner, and reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time. Analytics and advertising are currently offered together as one optional category.

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage keeps information on your device without automatically sending it with each request. Pixels and tags are scripts that can transmit information to a provider, even when a browser blocks some cookies.

## Essential preference storage

We store your consent choice in browser local storage under martexy-tracking-consent. It contains whether optional tracking is allowed, when you chose, and the consent version. It is not an advertising identifier and does not contain your name, email address or message.

This preference is valid for up to 180 days from your choice; returning to the website does not extend it. After expiry, or if you clear browser storage, we ask again. If storage is unavailable, your choice can apply to the current session but may not be remembered.

When you interact with an online enquiry or application form, the website uses an essential martexy_form_session cookie to protect submission against cross-site requests. It is restricted to the form endpoint, sent only over HTTPS, inaccessible to scripts and marked SameSite=Strict. It is a browser-session cookie, not an advertising identifier. The server-side form token expires after 30 minutes.

For abuse prevention and duplicate-submission checks, the form service temporarily stores keyed hashes of the connecting IP address and submission identifiers, counters, timestamps and delivery status. These records do not contain the submitted name, email address or message. Records become eligible for housekeeping after 24 hours. Hosting providers may separately keep operational access logs.

## Optional analytics and advertising

Only after acceptance, Google Tag Manager loads our Google Analytics 4 tag, alongside Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag and X Pixel. These tools measure website use and campaigns, and can support advertising audiences and remarketing. Tag Manager manages tags; it is not a separate analytics service.

### Google Analytics 4

Helps us understand page visits, traffic sources and engagement.

**Cookies & identifiers:** _ga and _ga_<container-id> distinguish browsers and sessions; campaign identifiers may also be processed.

**Duration:** Google documents a two-year default for these cookies. Account settings and browser limits may shorten or change this; the default is not a verified retention setting for our account.

### Meta Pixel

Measures page and content views and selected engagement actions, and can support advertising attribution and remarketing.

**Cookies & identifiers:** Examples include _fbp and _fbc, where created, plus Meta advertising identifiers.

**Duration:** Provider-managed and subject to browser restrictions. See Meta’s policy for current storage and retention information.

### LinkedIn Insight Tag

Measures website visits and campaign performance, and can support professional audience insights and retargeting.

**Cookies & identifiers:** LinkedIn may use first- and third-party identifiers, including li_fat_id and provider-domain cookies.

**Duration:** Varies by identifier and provider settings. LinkedIn publishes individual cookie purposes and durations.

### X Pixel

Measures website visits and advertising performance, and can support advertising audiences.

**Cookies & identifiers:** X may use cookie, browser and advertising identifiers for measurement and attribution.

**Duration:** Provider-managed and subject to browser restrictions. See X’s policy for current cookie information.

[X cookie policy](https://help.x.com/en/rules-and-policies/x-cookies)

These are examples of relevant identifiers, not a promise that every listed cookie is set on every visit. Cookie availability depends on your consent, browser, provider settings and whether you arrived through an advertisement. Cookie lifetime is separate from how long a provider retains event data.

## Information tracking can collect

- Visited page paths, page type, content identifier and language; traffic sources and recognised campaign or advertising-click identifiers.

- Selected contact-link clicks, form starts, confirmed enquiry-submission events, scroll-depth milestones and active page engagement; event identifiers and timestamps.

- Technical information received by providers, such as IP address, browser and device details, page URL, referring page, and cookie or advertising identifiers.

These identifiers may constitute personal data. Reports may be aggregated, but we do not describe all underlying tracking as anonymous. Providers may associate activity with their own account or advertising information under their policies.

Our tracking is restricted on selected pages, including careers, and when URLs or referring URLs fail our privacy checks. A contact click or form start is only an engagement action. A confirmed enquiry event means our mail service accepted the submission for delivery; it is not proof of inbox arrival, a qualified lead or a sale.

## What our tracking does not send

- Our custom tracking events do not send form entries, names, email addresses, phone numbers, message text or job-application fields as event parameters.

- We do not enable Meta automatic customer matching or provide customer contact lists through this website’s tracking integration.

- We do not use session-replay recordings or send server-side conversion events through advertising conversion APIs in this implementation.

- We do not report a contact click or form start as a successfully delivered lead, or record purchases made on this website.

This does not mean that no personal information is processed. When you submit our enquiry or application form, the website sends your entries securely to our server and then through Namecheap Private Email to [tellus@martexy.com](mailto:tellus@martexy.com) so our team can respond. The form service does not maintain a separate database of submitted messages or upload CV files. Your request is processed independently of optional tracking consent. Hosting and email providers may also process technical information to operate and secure their services. See our Privacy Policy for broader information handling.

## Change or withdraw your consent

Open Cookie settings in the footer, switch off Analytics & advertising and save, or select Reject optional. Withdrawing consent stops further optional tracking from this website; the page reloads to remove already-loaded tags. We also attempt to remove recognised, accessible first-party tracking cookies.

Withdrawal does not erase events already received by providers, or automatically delete cookies stored on their domains. Use your browser’s cookie controls and the providers’ privacy or advertising settings for additional control. Blocking cookies alone may not block all pixel requests, so also use our consent settings.

Your choice applies to this browser and device. Private browsing, another device or clearing local storage may require a new choice. No optional tracking scripts load when JavaScript is disabled. Local development and preview versions do not send events to our live tracking accounts.
